Default Volvo 850 questions

First off, I have always loved this car and its amazing to have my dream car.

Alright, so I have a 1995 black Volvo 850 turbo, 86k on the engine and runs perfect mechanically.

The only problems is there is a small crack on the one head light that I plan on replacing, numerous scratches on the car (Which for a 13 year old car is expected) and the lining on the side of the top part of the car (i can't really explain but its popping off)

what is a good scratch remover?
how much would it cost with labor to get the light replaced?
and same for that lining on the top part of the car?

The headlight lens can be replaced yourself, it's no big effort. The paint scratches are another story. I depends if the scratch is beyond the clear coat. On that point, I suggest you visit your local auto parts store that sells painting supplies and have them advise. Headliner problems are more involved, you might be able to quick fix with stick-in products for short term. An interior specialist would be advised also. Hope that helps you.

ALl but the scratches are fixable by yourself, and as mentioned, if the scratches are not too deep, they are also fairly simple to fix

Hello Purplehaze799,

Can you post some photos of your Brick?

Black would be my shade (colour) of choicefrom thefactorybut if I were to repaint The Anvil it would be a metallicblack and pearl burgundy ordeep deepred, belt line style two tone. Not for all but I really like it.Bottom black and hood, posts and roof the red. I could use that winning ticketany time now.

Have you checked eBay? Have you Googled Volvo 850 head light? There are also replacement lenses but Im not sure how difficult it would be to replace one. Again, eBay.
