Volvo 850 Serpentine Belt has slack
This is a 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo. I recently swapped out the alternator and thought I was all done. I removed the pin from the tensioner and now have too much slack. I have looked at the diagrams, but it looks like I followed them correctly and still have too much slack. I took some pictures. Can anyone help me out?

I wish "RSPI" would have looked at the pictures I attached. He would have seen that I clearly have an A/C unit. The actual problem was that it was in the short configuration rather than the long configuration. I have attached the two options. Along with what it should look like when it is finished, but the tensioner is pinned in place.

Dude, I looked at your photos. They are from up top and I really could not tell how you had the belt routed. If you looked at the pic I posted, it would have been clear how to route the belt, with AC. Very simple. Are you saying that the B/W pic on the left is NOT now you needed to route it?
