Volvo 850 starts but will not stay running - won't idle.
That has started to bother me lately. I'm starting to think some people don't want my help. I'm thinking about putting this statement in my signature... "If you don't answer my questions, you don't want my help".
I'm sorry I wasn't meaning to ignore you. I was trouble shooting the IAC and MAF first (seeing as I can do these without jacks and extra equipment), I will however try to test the fuel pressure in the next couple days. Its hard to test everything in one day when I dont have the proper equipment.
Here's another bit of info that kept slipping my mind. Sometimes when I'm accelerating (since the problem started) the car will loose revs for a split second like it dies but recovers. Its usually bad enough to cause light recoil like the car is hiccuping. I don't know if this sheds anymore light on the matter.
Once again thanks for the advice, and I have been reading everything. I will try every bit of advice that you guys give me. Thanks

Dirty,
When your car does the "hiccup" thing how long has it been running? I have heard others mention this phenomenon. Mine does this also after about ten minutes of running(after it reaches operating temps). Although this is purely conjecture on my part I believe this happens when it goes into closed loop or open loop(I am not sure which is which).

If it happens when you try to speed up it could be that you have an intake hose/tube collapsing on you. Pop the hood with the car running, hit the throttle and see if any of your tubes collapse.
