Hey guys! Wondering if anyone has come across this problem...I have the original Volvo SC-710 car cassette/CD/radio in my 850 Wagon and I use a MP3 cassette adapter so I can play my music off my cell phone. Was working well until a few days ago - I can't hear anything when the tape is engaged. I can hear the tape player running, and when I turn the volume up REAL high, I can faintly hear music. I tried cleaning the tape heads on both the adapter and the player, I tried another adapter, but I still have the same problem. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

 

The volume on your phone?

 

Plug head phones in your phone to make sure it's still working fine, mine just broke (phone). If it's working, replace the head unit in your car. The SC-710 is a weak system, get one that says Premium Sound System printed on it for $50 or less, awsome sound.
