Volvo Power steering questions.

i think my power steering pump is failing, and my current pump is low on fluid, what is the correct fluid to put in it?

ATF is what the 850's use.

which atf dextron? mercon?
automatic transmission fluid, its the same?

what im asking is, does it use anything special?
