In the photo in the link below is the upper eyelet that the net is attached to standard on the 850 or is it part of the net kit? And how is this eyelet attached to the car?

Thanks. I got one of those nets from an 850 to put on my 99 V70, but when I went to put it on I realized mine lacked that upper eyelet. So I was trying to see if I should go back the wrecker and get it. But if it is welded that is not an option.

 

I'm sure the hardware store has an eye bolt that will suit your needs.

Had to go back to the wrecker today anyway so I gave it a quick look. The upper eyelets are screwed on for the net accessory. The lower ones are welded. I grabbed the hardware I needed so it all worked out.

I got a bit suspicious when I looked at the photo again. The lower eyelets were the color of the body while the upper matched the interior.
