wagon windshield washer won't squirt
The motor hums but nothing is coming out of the nozzles. How do I trace the line & find any filters & check valves for the rear window washers?
How would I remove & clean or replace the rear nozzles if they are clogged?
The front washers squirt fine. Have not checked the headlight washers.
I would be interested in a diagram of the whole system too, just for completeness. Where is the filter etc for the front washers?
I see from searching that there are check valve tees under the hood insulation for the front washers.

Isn't the one under the hood for the front nozzles?
For the rear nozzle in a wagon, I know there's a inline filter under a rear passenger side interior panel; can't remember if there's a ck valve in there too.
Pull up the panels that cover the spare tire area, then also the panel(s) in the passenger rear corner (can't remember if side panels have to come off too). If you can't figure it out, shout back.

My rear filter was not clogged. However, there is a part which seems to be undocumented. If you follow the hose up the pillar, it travels to the outside of the speaker. Stick your fingers up & pull it off its clip.
You will discover that there is a hose connector that has some sort of backflow preventer and/or pressure relief function. Its a single connector with a little disk like thing with a diaphragm inside.
Its a really STUPID place to locate this part. Hard to get to, and completely hidden.
The front hoses have the same thing, only they are Y connectors.
The internal latex diaphragm had broken.
I replaced it with a Y connector after plugging one leg with glue & capping it off.
Rear washer works fine now.
