There are a lot of sites for Volvos and as a newbe I was wondering if there was one that listed what parts from what cars fit the others.

For ex I see on Ebay that some roof racks that fit a S70 may fit my 93 850.
There is even a rack for sale locally and I would like to be sure.
I would just drive over there with the car if it were not for the dead fuel pump right now.

 

The best way to check is to look up a part for your car and note the part number. Then search the car option in question and see if it has the same part number on the same website. Hope that makes sense.
