what size tires go on Volan rims

what size tires go on Volan rims

I am looking at purchasing a set of Volan rims from a friend but he has the wrong size tires on them. What size is suppose to be on them?

I think it's 205/45/17

supposed to be 205/45/17. I'm running 225/45/17. Had to remove the rear fender liners and I do rub some on lock, but they work...

I run 215/45/17 on mine, have for years and no rubbing. Yokohama makes a decent tire in that size for a reasonable price.

I know mate,have them on mine too(size i mean),allways went for the goodyear eagles F1,now assymetric F1.

Yeah, a 205/45/17 is gonna have the same circumference as a 205/50/16.

You are correct, the 205's is the size called for by the manufacturer and the size listed uder the gas flap for 17" wheels.
