What years of Transmissions fit a 93 Auto

As a quick self help, try searching with Car-parts.com = they search yards for used parts and will list the standard model interchanges. I did a quick search and it looks like 93s only list with 93s, 94/95s list and 96/97 list together. With that noted, it may be about computer compatibility vs "fit" for the bolts...

Yeah...that.
Keep in mind that most interchange databases only list a part as compatible if it's a direct bolt in, with zero modifications needed. For example, I was recently looking for an engine for my '98 V70 T5. I had found a '96 850 turbo with a good motor. The complete engine does not interchange with my car, but the block and the head do. Obviously the difference is accessory items that can be changed, but prevent the 850 motor from just being dropped directly in.
There's enough people running around with various years of manual transmissions in place of various years of automatics to suggest that most certainly the automatics will swap. Worst case, I'd think you need the computer for the appropriate year trans.
