Default Where does your temp gauge sit when your car is warmed up?

The temp gauge in my non turbo 850 seems to barely move when the car should be up to operating temperature. The heater puts heat though.

I suspect the thermostat is stuck open but I`m wondering if anyone could let me know what the temp gauge in your car shows when your car is warmed up.

Thanks

Typically, when my car is warmed up, the temp gauge sits right at about the 3pm mark, or about in the middle of the gauge.

Same here; I see a horizontal gauge needle. All the 850's I've had were the same.

Idling with the A/C on the most I can get is 0430.

Must be time for a new thermostat and coolant.

Be a good idea to change them out and then see where you are at.

Do it ASAP. Running a car with a bad thermostat will cause it to run rich. That can lead to a burnt valve.

Mine sits just above 3 oclock. My heat gun says 192 at the thermo housing.
