He posted awhile back that hewas going to have to devote the time he was spending on the forum to some family issues. He also said that he will check in when he can and once he gets the family issues taken care of he will be back. If you read this Tech, hope things are going well for you and you will be back soon.

Hm.......Considering this is really the only forum I browse, I must've missed it.

Hopefully he gets back soon and the issues get settled.

I'm curious as to the progress on the car lol. (Of course Family first).

 

Wonder if he got the front seats? Forum really isn't the same without him.

 

Im still alive but still going through some things here at home.
The son has Pneumonia and had a Temp of 103 and went into convulsions today at Daycare and had to be rushed to the ER. Thats how we found out he had Pneumonia.

Other than that still the same ol stuff here. The Cutlass almost killed me today. The brakes didn't work at all going to work this morning. But the car has a very weird system that I can't find Info on how it works. It has somekind of Gas filled cylinder instead of a brake booster. Time to park it for now. Almost time to sell it just got done doing a bunch of work to it. When I do im going toi buy another 850 if I can find one.

The car is coming along pretty good.
Got a chipped computer for it and running about 10 PSI of boost.
Still waiting for the guy to come dye the seats so I can get them installed in the car.
Slowly trying to get some more stuff for the car.

This is the latest I have been doing to it. (See pics)








Eventually I will have the intake polished and the firewall sheild.
Then install Blue silicon hoses and hopefully the Volvo Motor Sports spark plug cover.

That stinks about your son. I hope he gets better. Just a lot of rest and fluids.

I've got a cold and my nose keeps running and I can't stand it. What your son's going through's gotta be 1000 times worse.

I like the polished fuel rail and t-stat housing though. In the first pic, what's the polished thing that's on the very top of the pic? Above the fuel rail...

 

That is the Heat Sheild hiding the turbo.

Everyone is glad to see you back, take you time for your son & family as we can wait as long as we need to. It does sound like it's time for the Cutlassto retire.

I kind of like to see "Snap-on Made in the USA" on the polished cover but that's just me[8D]

Sure hope your son is getting better. Family comes first. Your next 850 should be an R Wagon. Not that easy to find though. Just got a 95 850 Turbo Wagon for my daughter. After driving over 1,000 miles we ended up finding one here in Columbus.
