Hey I have a 93 850 (non turbo) and ever since i had to replace my transmission (did it myself) i've been getting this white smoke in the engine compartment. I've been reading some other forums about the matter and all of them seem to be the same thing PCV. When i had to do the transmission do you think that i forgot to connect a hose and that's why it's smoking near the intake box as well as the oil cap and the dipstick. I just got it emission tested and the HC's were near the limit but just enough to pass. I would like to fix this problem ASAP. If anyone has diagrams of the PCV system or anything please send me them.

Found the problem one of the hoses for the PCV system is brocken, its the one that goes from the middle of the engine to the breather - it's snapped and part of it's missing. Probably gonna do a complete PCV system really soon
