Default White smoke from 96 850 Turbo

Hello all. Just bought a 96 850 turbo wagon. 177K. After driving the vehicle home I noticed white/slightly bluish smoke from the exhaust on acceleration. It smells a little of oil and is a tad sweet. My heart sank! Its odd because the motor and turbo is so smooth and powerful, no lag at all and all *****. Engine temp is normal. The valve cover and manifold has some oil on it, and around the filler cap too. Could the PCV system be clogged, building pressure in the crankcase causing the smoke? Dare i say a head gasket? I'm really leaning towards the PCV system but you guys know more than I do. Does this sound serious? It only smokes once in a while...sometimes a lot, sometimes just a little. Should i be driving it, or should I park it until I can get it checked out?

Thank You

Ian

I would service the vent system as soon as you can.

As Tech said, service the vent system. To fix the small oil leaks, get a new seal for the oil filler cap, and replace the small O-rings on the dipstick. Do the vent system first though
