They should fit but might rub a little at full turn.
You might also need spacers.
But I have seen them on a C70 convertable with no spacers.

No question that they will fit. Rubbing is largely determinant upon the tire size. A 225/35/18 will rub a little bit, so I would probably recommend you get 215s or even 205s to make sure they don't rub.
