window tinting

If I were you, I'd pay to have it done professionally. It's a LOT harder than it looks to do tint right, even on cars as "boxy" as ours. A buddy of mine (who does window tint for a living) spent about 3 hours on doing my car. Plus, it's gonna cost you a lot more to have bad tint removed than it will to just get it fdone right the first time.

I've done 3 of my own cars, all held up great and look near perfect. The tough part is not getting the window seal felt in the tint, so I always remove the glass, I couldn't do it no other way. The last car I had done was my 960, I paid to have it done because I wanted good tint and the cost of the tint was only about $80 different than paying the pro's to do it so I let them do it.
I want to get my wagon done and want to pay to have it done. I have seen professional jobs go bad a few years later so be careful about who you use. It's best to use a place that new car dealers use, not just anyplace. You can also ask what brand of tint they use. Lumar is best, and 3M products. The rear window is the toughest, usually 3 strips work best but you have to be careful to get it on with tight seams.
