Default removing window tint

I have this ugly purple, bubbley window tint That I want to remove. Any tips? I'm sure there will be tint adhesive stuck to the glass. Should I use a razor ? Any susgestions would be great.

Thanks

I have luck with razoring it with an utility type blade as much as possible, then washing the remains with soap and water. Watch for the back window as the defroster lines will probably get damaged doing it this way, that's the hard one to get done well...

use windex with ammonia in it. The warning on thetint boxes say not to use ammoniated window cleaner. It will disolve the glue.

Thanks for the ideas,I have using straight amonia in a a spray bottle with a straight razor blade. All four doors are done. I just need to get the small side windows and the dreaded back window. But allready the car looks 100% better without the crappy purple tint.
