Wiper blade refills for 96 850 Turbo
I purchased a low mileage 96 850 turbo sedan a few months back --- loving it so far.
I have the Volvo windshield wiper arms with wind fairings (?) and would like to find wiper blade refills (i.e., to replace just the rubber part). I would also like to replace the rubber wiper blades on the headlights. Unfortunately, no local shops carry these refills anymore, so I want to be sure I'm ordering refills that will fit.
I searched the forum unsuccessfully (maybe I'm not doing it right...) and am now hoping a new post will find someone who can point me to the right products.
It looks like Trico 17-210 (6mm wide) is recommended, but the blades in my original wipers are 6.5mm wide. Close enough?
I can't find any refill recommendations on the headlight wipers. My current blades are 6mm x 200mm (8 inches long). Suggestions?
Thanks in advance

You can get the headlight wiper refills on www.FCPEuro.com or www.iPdUSA.COM.
Not sure about any other refills. Companies know you will buy an assembly for $12 each vs refills for $15 pair.
Maybe they got tired of people crying about the refills not fitting.

I put these on my car, they fit great and work a treat. And they make the car look a little nicer.

You would be much better served just replacing the blade with a good quality newer style without all the bracing. These work better in winter as they tend to shed ice as they flex over the windshield and they do have a wing built into them to help hold the windshield at freeway (plus ) speeds !!
The rainX Latitudes I've had problems with. People who bang them on the windshield to remove snow and ice tend to have an end cap come off and then the blade slides out and you have to replace it. Doesn't seem to happen to other brands.
