Wipers stuck on
My wipers are stuck in washer mode and will not go off, even after restarting the car. I assume that I have a stuck relay, or perhaps the wiper switch. If it could be a relay, might this be easily located and replaced ?
Thanks

Yes, I have headlight wipers. This was not spontaneous. I pulled the washer stick to clean the windshield and rather than running the typical 3 or 4 cycles, the wipers and pump stayed on. This is why I think that it is something in the wiper controls themselves
OK I wanted to make sure that one of the headlight wipers didn't go bad(Common problem) and it was only the headlight wiper making noise. But if the windshield wipers keep going as well it has to be something else.
I have never seen this before. I wonder if it is in the switch. Maybe if you can get to the switch and unplug it and see if it stops. If it is shorted after the switch it will keep going. If it is the switch or shorted before the switch it will stop when unplugged.

I was hoping that I could locate a relay as I cannot get into the steering column very easily. If it turns out to be the switch I would have someone else do it as I don't want to deal with the airbag, pulling the wheel, etc.
I'll likely just pull the fuse and hope that it does not rain before I can get it to my mechanic.

To get to the switch you do not need to remove the steering wheel or the Air Bag you just need to remove the black cover on the column. It is 4 or 5 screws and it is off.
I will try to look at the wiring diagram quick and see what I can find.
