Default Yellow 850 T-5 R

Thank you all for the help. I found one in Houston, TX and if all goes well I should see her in her new home in Los Angeles next week. I just wanted find out the type of motor oil you guys are using on these cars. Pro and cons on synthetic and what type works best with the turbo.

ThanX again, Yuki

Ask 20 people what kind of motor oil is good and what sucks and you'll get 20 different answers.

I run whatever advance has on sale for the $16.99 oil change in mine, and I change every 3k miles.

I run full synthetic oil.
My buddy is a tech so I just go with whatever synthetic he put's in it. I know that totally lame of me but his shop is right next door form where I work so I just drop it off to him in the AM and he get's to it when he has time. Lol

I use Valvoline 10W30 High Mileage Synthetic Blend. Buy it at Wal-mart in 5 quart containers for around $15. Can't find anybody else that carries the 5 quart containers. Been using it for years and my son uses the same. Not saying it's the best, just what I use. Reminds me I need to get some. I also use only Mann or OEM Oil Filters. Cheap from fcpgroton. I buy then in groups of 10 at a time.

Mobil 1 10w30. 22 bucks at walmart up here. Mann filter from FCP 4-5 bux, nice shiney new crush washer for drain plug, and a nice new... however not shiney... filler cap gasket.

still cheaper then most of the grease monkey places, and i know that i put oil in it, and put the cap back in...
