Smile A Yellow T-5R Wagon is for sale on eBay...

I just checked eBay and seen a Yellow T-5R for sale and thought I'd let everyone know. If I was ready for it, I would purchase it myself. Maybe next time. The item # is: 190333137311

If someone wants to purchase my Sedan, I would get the wagon. PM me.

I already said that. I saw it earlier. I can't believe they're still going for that much.

I thought cars that rare did not depreciate, as long as it was in good condition and had low miles.

If mine were nice enough, I would put it in car shows and had out flyers.

Oh yeah, I definitely would too. I just didn't know that that's what they were going for, that's the first one I've ever seen for sale. It's just too bad that it's a very small community that really knows how rare that car is.

I think $9400 is pricing it too high. I would think $7000-7500 would be a decent price for it. I'm watching it to see if it sells.

I felt like it was a little high, but then at the same time I've seen R's with 200k miles sell for 5k, so I didn't know the fact that it was a yellow T5-R wagon with fewer miles jack up the price that much.

I don't see it selling for 9400 dollars. I know they are rare and all but still.

Exactly, they're rare, but it's still 15 years old and has however many miles, 160k something like that. It's not really a collectible, except to the right person. So I guess if the right person comes along, and they really want it, they'll pay 9400 dollars for it, it's just finding the right person.

It looks like this guy is trying to pull the "rarity" card here. You can tell he is trying to target someone who does not know a lot about Volvos because he has the words RARE RARE RARE everywhere on the page.

If Techs estimate is right, he is trying to pull an extra $2500 for rarity. Bonehead

Cool

It's all about the money fellas. I mean, of course everyone wishes they could buy it for a dollar, but what that guy knows is that a lot of people would pay 7 grand for that car, and if it were me knowing that, id ask for about 9000 just like he did. Someone will buy it for that much. Its the law of supply and demand, and there just aint no supply lol. At least we'll know one thing. If it dont sell and it goes back up cheaper, we know the guy needs the cash fast LOLLLL!!

Nice to be logged back on for once tho. Hope you appreciate the input.

That's good. At least you still have it. I just started classes so it's not too bad yet, and plus with my job I'm sitting at a computer 50% of the time. But yeah, always good to hear from you.

We have one here in NZ going for 12000nzd which is roughly $8300US. 1 of 25 released in Singapore. 9000 seems a bit high considering most things are more expensive here compared to the US

Yea but that link is for a sedan, this thread has been about a yellow wagon for sale, which is much more rare.

That car is pretty clean, but the engine bay is sooo dirty, and a trailer hitch? Why would you tow anything with that car? crazay.
