Good morning everyone! I purchased a 2008 C30 about 6 months ago, and It has started to surge while stopped at a stop sign or a red light at times. It seems to surge every few weeks while stopped, it has never died, but I felt it get close a few times. Seems to happen more often around 1/4 tank but will also happen at a full tank, just less often.

I pulled codes and there were 2 codes for the fuel system, one of them being open loop I believe.

I have no idea where to start with this, my first guess would be to check the Mass airflow sensor, then the O2 sensors on the exhaust to see if the ECM/PCM is leaning out the vehicle. It has no problems while driving and seems to drive pretty damn good when moving, but surges when stopped.

Has anyone come across this before? Know of a good place to start? I have a place to rack it and Ive got all the tools needed to repair. Fuel systems are just not my specialty unfortunately!
