New to Volvo and like my 08 c30 so far. The only problem I have is the car seems very twitchy in sharp left turns over 45ish mph. Right hand curves the car feels fine. Is this a symptom of the right front axle I read about? The car does have slight strut rattle. only 106k

 

What do you mean by twitchy? I would inspect the steering components as well. Struts also shouldn't rattle, I would think that means something is loose.

Any noise to go with the "Twitching?" Front right wheel bearing might come into question then. You can check your wheel bearing by lifting that corner of the car up, leaving the wheel on, grab the top and bottom of the tire and push it back and forth to see if it wobbles. It should not move in that direction.

 

Ive checked everything and the only thing bad are the struts because of the rattle over bumps. Its almost like the car gets a bad push in tight left curves only. the car tracks fine and does not pull. Car has terrible torque steer to begin with

 

I'd be inclined to check the control arm bushings and tie rod ends. Has the car been in for an alignment recently? Does it track straight but is twitchy (ie too much toe-in) in turns or does it track poorly as well (ie too much toe-out)
