Buying C30, help .

Bought my first C30 about 2 years ago and basically I'm good with it. Read up on everything you can online...definitely a very safe car on the road. You may see an insurance break for the safety features. Definitely peppy for that 5 cyl motor. Handles pretty well, but I hate the low profile tires. Forget about kids in the back seat. Cargo in the hatch is reasonable. All cars have their issues, front lower control arm bushings go on this car by 60K, but one thing I would mention is to be VERY careful messing around with electric anything in this car. The car has a sensor somewhere for everything. Even things that I don't think you need a sensor for. If you replace the battery, don't wait till it wont start some morning...AND ALWAYS disconnect the neg. lead FIRST if you remove the battery. Pos lead connected first on reconnect. This car uses the chassis as a voltage circuit conduit and can throw an SRS air bag module code rather easily if there's a variance... which means you just fried the air bag module...which means that's a dealer $1200 replacement item...unless you DIY and wait for a $120 reset unit from the UK...and replace it yourself (which I chose to do) and it's a hassle to get to believe me! But it's a pretty damn decent car for the most part. And like my '73 1800ES, pretty damn decent looking too I might say.
