Default C30 Lights

New to Volvo and not familiar with at all. Questions are should the left fog cut off when switching to bright? Are all the headlight switches the same? I see some that the left fog button is different. Lastly should the fogs be on constantly? Someone changed bulbs and something doesnt seem right. Any help appreciated

Volvos are originally wired for front fog lights with low beams only. Looks like some cars don't have front fog lights so there won't be a push button switch for them of the left of the switch. Rear fog light switch is on the right of the gas door release.

The left side push button does nothing. The indicator lights up on the right side. Im gonna put a switch in it just to see if anything changes. The car has a low beam message on but the bulbs are good. Thanks for the info

After confirming a blown fuse, my head has been spinning after purchasing the indicated H8 fog light bulbs.
Replaced fuse. No fog lights.

Then opened up the fog lights on 2012 R-Design to find zero bulbs. Volvo upgraded 2012-2013 to LED DRLS.

Passed a Ford Dealership yesterday so I picked up a FoMoCo matching fog light relay (position R4 in engine bay fuse box).
Disconnected battery ground before plugging it in.
They are still not working.

I’m certain now, that the body shop that replaced the (raccoon destroyed) front bumper cover didn’t securely reconnect that harness back to the car. Particularly since both lights are out.

I know-I know. Should have slapped a test light (Test Light - Circuit Buddy 6-50 Volt Led test light and wire piercing probe) on the light connectors at the start of problem. 😖 Senioritis hits in different ways.

On my 2012, the DRLS function on the A headlight switch position.
The Active Bending Headlight feature is also on the A switch position.

Appreciate the help.
