Default C30 T5 lighting issue

Hello Ladies and Gents,

My wife is the (very) proud owner of a 2011 C30, with about 170k miles on it cause she drives all over the place. Anyway, recently her car decided that the headlights were just gonna stop working. She has foglights (f+r) non adjustable beams, halogen headlights. Typically she leaves the switch in the on position and the lights come on with the car. At present the low beams do not work, the front parking lights do not work. The highs (all positions), rear lights (all), turn signals (f+r), and foglights work properly.

We went through the electrical service manual online and replaced all the fuses that had anything to do with headlights, they all checked out ok.
We have a new headlight switch on order from fcpeuro, should be here in a few days so we can check that.

Anyone have other suggestions?

we tried out the new switch last night with no change. Will be returning it to FCP.

Our next course of action is to unhook the battery and check the CEM connections and internals for any obvious signs of damage.

We replaced all 4 bulbs and lights are back on. Must have been a surge through the cem or something to pop them all at once like that.
