Factory Service Manual?
Hey all,
Happy New Year. New Guy, here. I've got a 2010 C30 T5 that's got a leak in the cooling system. The engine wasn't running hot and from what I can see (which ain't much due to the tight engine compartment) it appears there's a cracked nipple or hose that's gushing water/coolant when I add water to the coolant reservoir.
I'd really like to find an honest Factory Service Manual for my vehicle. Any suggestions on where to look? PDF is fine.
Thanks all.

The factory service manual is online.
The legal way is a subscription to VIDA purchased from volvotechinfo.com (in the US)
Prior to 2015 - VIDA was provided on a DVD. The latest version on DVD was 2014d (4th quarter 2014) That covered cars through 2015.
The dvd version has been hacked to work without a subscription and is easily found free on the internet. You simply provide your CPU, find it , download it , install it and apply the hack to make it work without a subscription and use as you wish. 2014d was originally designed to work only on a win7 pro cpu with IE9. (and install easiest on that platform)
You will not find a printed version of any manual that will be as comprehensive as Vida 2014d.
BTW - your car does not have a low coolant warning system - many Volvos like yours (s40s70c30) have had coolant leaks and destroyed the owners wallet when they overheat due to the lack of a warning system. An aftermarket company offers a solution - I would highly recommend something like that. (Although as a shop owner those head repair jobs were somewhat profitable, but very stressful to describe to the customers the time and money it will take to make the car run again)

You, sir, get a pint and a shot. Thank you so much for this info! And the link is awesome. I'm towing her to my guy this morning and will have him order the new, sensored part. I've worked on my Tundra for a couple years now, but have been hesitant to dive into my Volvo, as the engine compartment is just so much tighter than a Toyota. VIDA sounds like it's the first stop in getting to really know my C30. But as a MAC guy I may have some trouble with it.
Thank you, Hoonk! Happy New Year!
