Hi my dog has chewed my c30 key and it was my only key . I have had my car recovered to a local volvo dealership where thay have told me thay have ordered a new key and thay have programmed it but however the key will not start the car but it will open and close only .

there now saying thay don't know what else can be the problem. Other than damp in the passenger foot well which might be causing a faulty wire Stopping the key fob from working. .

does this sound right . Or could there be another reason. Thanks
