seems like an easy job, but aware that when fuel flops out, air will get in. how do i prime the lines manually?

cant you turn the key to just before the 'start' position, leave it for about 5 secs, and repeat 3 times? thats what i do for all my other cars. i just inherited a 99 v70, so im figuring out things on this car myself. what brand are you using for the filter?
