Hi all,

Had this issue with my 2007 C30 for quite a while now, replaced the battery in my key fob and it lost all functionality. The only way to access my car is with the manual blade key, and the fob still starts the ignition thankfully.

I’ve tried everything I could find online; replaced the battery, tried the ignition pattern method, etc etc. and still nothing.

I took it to a local car key specialist and they said the key is still emitting a signal so it could either be that it needs resyncing, or that it could be an issue with the receiver in the car (wanted to charge me £120 to try the key but if the problem still persisted I’d then have to pay more to examine the receiver).

One thing I’ve noticed since is that my alarm light on my dash doesn’t light up at all anymore, and also wouldn’t start flashing when I tried the key resync ignition method… so maybe it’s something to do with the alarm system?

Has anyone else had this problem before!?
