Hello folks.

So the clutch on my 07' C30 2.0l petrol is starting slip, and almost guaranteed with the milage at 272k km (169k miles) the flywheel will need replacement.

However I am looking at getting it welded, or locking it in other words, to make it into a SMF. Some people have said it was done on other vehicles and some said just say away from that.

So as far as I know it can be welded and the balanced.

Please advise as I would like to take the cheaper route if possible.
