Hi. I have a 2006 1.6d C30 which has xenon lights. Hit a deer the other evening - the only damage (remarkably) was a broken plastic lens on the driver's side headlight unit - there is a piece missing about 2 inches square.. The light unit still works perfectly, but the broken lens probably means the beam is not going where it should be. In any event the car will fail its MOT

I have been quoted £700+ for a new unit! Can't find one on eBay, nor in any breaker yards for under £500. I'd be happy to replace the lights with standard units, but understand that this is not easy and will throw up an error message on the dash.

Anyone got any bright ideas? (xenon bright!)
