The wife has had the car for a little over two years and the low beams have stopped working. The high beam and daylight lights work as they should. I have read threads on here about the shunt resistor failure on other year and model cars. Would like to verify that the likely cause and fix would be the same for this year and model.

 

Have you checked fuses?

 

I checked the fuses. The 10 amp one in the passenger side is good.

Number 3 (feed to pass compartment) in the panel by the battery has a discolorization at the fastener and the yellow number is particially obscured. What does this feed in the other fuse box?
