I'm crushed. My 1998 C70 Coupe HT 5-Speed, with 178K Miles, which has consistently proven more reliable than my 2005 S60R, blew its water pump and subsequently its timing belt this week. I was in motion. Both were only 30K Miles old. Done three years ago, there was no existing warranty in place. I've decided to remove the head, change the pump and belt myself, and replace the head. My question is this: Can I use the head off another 2.3L 20 Valve Volvo 5 Cylinder, even if it's not the T3 designation? There are a few different era 2.3's out there, and there is more availability of heads for some of the other ones than of this particular one. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
