Question 1998 S70 T5 engine compatibility question

I found another S70 T5 with a blown engine. The body and interior is mint, and I'm pondering the idea of swapping a good used running engine into it. I was wondering what engines from other models(v70, c70, etc.) would be a direct swap into a 1998 S70 T5. 6th and 7th digit of the vin # is 53. I figure if there are other compatible engines from other models, it would broaden my search for a swap. Thanks

after some more research, I assume I can use any of the B5234T, B5234T3, B5234T4, B5234T5, or B5234T6 longblocks as long as they come from a M4.3/M4.4 car since those are the ones with distributors, correct?

I couldn't tell you 100% for sure, but I would think that it would be a direct swap. It's the same car and practically the same engine. If you plan to stay with an S/V/C70 engine, you're looking at a displacement different of 0.1L at the most. As far as I know, they're all virtually the same motor.
