I know how this goes as I'm a member of multiple car forums, but I couldn't find the answer to my question after searching multiple Volvo forums. I have recently acquired a 2000 Volvo c70 for free with a blown motor.
I've searched and read as much as I could, but still couldn't find the answer as far as engine compatibility. This c70 is equipped with a b5244t engine. Currently I'm look at a B5244t3 engine. I've read that this variant is better, but couldn't find anywhere if it would work with the existing engine management system in the 2000 c70. Can somebody shed some light on this please. Again I apologize as I'm sure the answer is floating out there and I'm not versed well enough with Volvos to ask the great internet the right question. Thanks
