I have a 2001 C70 and pieces of the interior are literally falling off. On both the drivers and passengers side the parts under the instrument panel and the glove box have started to hang off, exposing wires?! Large pieces of gray plastic (not broken)the appearon the front floor. And rubber pieces on thedrivers side (open closewindows,move sidemirrors) are literally rubbing off leaving smaller nubs. Is anyone else having problemslike this???

Guessing you bought the car used.. have you ran a carfax on it? Ever in an accident?

 

CARFAX report shows clean. It was used as a 'rental' before I bought it (I didn't know that). But it wasa 'Volvo Certified Vehicle'. The carfax shows that the dealer drove it around for a while. I've had it for 3 years.

 

The C70 series is the worst for the plastic's breaking.

 

Now you tell me TECH................
I suppose that is why super glue was manufactured?
