Default 2001 C70 not starting/running rough

Last week my c70 decided to start acting up. I couldn't get it to start, but when it did start, it would run rough, especially at idle. I gave it a full tune up, plugs, boots, air/fuel filter, and its still running poorly. And tips or advice would be very helpful

Assuming you have spark - time to look into fuel/mix issues. Does it just idle poorly or won't rev either? Does it change if it warms up? Could be a few things - few pump relay, MAF sensor are typical to start with. You can try jumpering or replacing the fuel pump relay or get some MAF cleaner to see if that helps.

The MAF was just done a few months ago, so we could probably cross that off. It revs, and if i hold it at an rpm, it'll seem like it's running normally. Warming it up doesn't seem to changs it at all.

Hooked up check engine OBD to it today. It identified P0300, which is a random misfire

Another code reading said camshaft position sensor. Any thoughts on that?

could be worth looking at that as well. I didn't bother to check if your model year uses the cam or the crank sensor for spark timing... Check the S70/V70 boards as there's been some other threads on how to test the camshaft sensor for voltage and for impedance. Or you can be like me and just go get a used one at your local yard and see if anything changes!

I'll definitely try that. I'd rather not spend $160 on a new part unless i have to
