Default 2001 C70 Top is stuck half way up!

Went to put the convertible top down and just as the top released at the windshield header and the tonneau cover came up it stopped. Pulled the top switch out of the dash and there is no power going to the switch. The REAL problem is the tonneau stopped in the vertical position - totally preventing opening the trunk at all. Not being able to open the trunk I can't gain access to the top control module or rear fuse panel. I am stuck! Anyone know of anyway to lower the tonneau (I'm guessing the signal comes from the top module in the trunk). Would greatly appreciate any ideas!

I haven't tried this on mine yet, but can you unbolt and remove the cover so you have access to the trunk? At least you should be able to get into the trunk and even manually lower the top from there.
