2007 C70 Passenger Side Low Beam Issue
We have a 2007 C70 and are receiving the Low Beam Failure message. I swapped out the bulb on the passenger side, as I had done previously on the driver side with a great result, and it still did not work. While changing that bulb, I noticed that many of the wires had exposed copper. I attempted to repair them just using electrical tape. The more I touched them, the more the outer insulation would crumble away. Needless to say, the new bulb did not work. Since my wife loves this car and wants to keep it for quite a while, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase the whole assembly for the headlamp. It was apparent that the other assembly's wiring was just dissolving. Anyway, I plugged in the new headlamp assembly and the low beam still did not work. My next step will be to locate the fuse and see if that might be the problem. I have my fingers crossed but am not feeling very hopeful. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There are fuses for the high beams (58,59 in the CEM) but not for the low beams - Several times I've had cars where the CEM did not send power to a bulb after bulb replacement. Turned out codes were stored in the CEM and the CEM had shut the power off to an individual bulb - perhaps old bulb shorted out - don't know. After clearing the CEM codes the new bulb worked.
