2007 C70 review
I wrote a review of the C70 (2007 model) which some people might be interested in. It's quite lengthy, so here's a link to it:

I'm curious to see if other C70 drivers share my point of view on this one.

RE: 2007 C70 review
Good review! Above and beyond having somewhat different opinions on some things, I had two minor items on possible fact issues:
1. I think it is true that there is no suspension difference between the cars with the std. 17" wheels and tires and the 18" wheel/tire combination. The difference in feel is due to the lower sidewall height, and the different type of tire, not to any re-calibrating of suspension components.
2. I am less sure of this one, but I seem to think that the Dynaudio system does have speed-sensitive volume. If you go into the various menus for the audio, I think there was a way to set the amount of speed-sensitive volume adjustment (something like max/normal/min). But I am just going from memory here.
On a more subjective basis, I also view the automatic as the weak link in the design. They really should have gone for a 6-speed auto, to have less drop-off in revs after up-shifts. The other quibble I have is that in manual-shifting mode, there is a bit too much time delay between pushing the shift lever and the actual shift. You end up having to anticipate the shift. That said, I think the biggest problem in terms of acceleration times is just that the C70's final gear ratio is a bit too tall. It probably would have been fine with a 6-speed auto, but with the 5-speed they should have kept the revs up a little higher with a shorter (larger numerically) final drive ratio.
