Default 2007 C70 SRS Service Urgent (After Pulling Door Panel)

Greetings all...

I had an interior door release cable fail on me requiring me to roll the window down, reach out and pop the door from there to get out. Lots of fun! My passenger handle had also broken at the bottom and both handles and door cups were worn so I wanted to change them all out too.

I DID pull the negative battery cable off before removing anything and had EVERYTHING reconnected prior to restoring power.

I got the parts I needed online and started with the Passenger side. All went well but I was unable to disconnect the large multi-pin connector; too tight. I did disconnect the two pin (orange & black w/red wires) connector going to the door inflator unit. As I said all went well but busting out the and replacing the plastic retainer washers in replacing the door handle was a pain with that corner still plugged in.

I presume that two pin connector for the inflator is the only SRS component actually in the door panel that would be unplugged in pulling the door panel, am I right?

Today I did the Driver side and dealt with replacing the door release cable as well. I know I did not have an SRS warning because I turned the vehicle around to put that side closer to my toolbox and had no indication. Again I DID pull the negative battery cable and did the work but on this side I WAS able to unplug the large connector to completely remove the door panel from the vehicle. All the work went well although getting that cable back in was a PITA.

The difference this time is in restoring power I have an SRS Service Urgent message.

Any thoughts? Does this sound like a scan and reset? I was **very** careful in handling and making sure power was pulled.

It sounds like its expected that my Harbor Freight scanned would not 'see' them as it didn't reset the fault.

Thanks for any input!

only a shop with the VIDA program can read the codes and reset your SRS
