Since the card of the dealership for the convertible top malfunction error code They basically said it's me like five or $6,000 just to try some things that they couldn't guarantee would fix the issue got it back home they said it was locked it wasn't locked top blew open on the freeway got it home manually lowered the top and then manually raised the top locked everything but still getting the code and the beeping is there any way to fix that or disconnect the beeping?

 

There is a relay you can remove and it won't chime anymore. I have taken mine out of my 2001.

It was a light blue module under the dash on the driver side of the car. Had to remove the panel below the steering wheel and it was a bit challenging to get at it and wiggle it out.

Wish I could find a diagnostic tool as I would love to tinker with the sensors and track down the problem....
