I saw an old post where someone was asking where the location of the fuel filter is for a 2011 C70 but there was no response.

I know it exists because I found it online - unless the websites I found were just wrong.

Not all Volvos will have a fuel filter, on some models the filter is inside the tank and is not serviceable - google around for some related posts - as I recall the nuance is whether your car has a metal (Cali cars?) vs plastic gas tank.

Depends on your VIN - Here's the parts catalog page. If it exists - it will be mounted in the rear of the car - just follow the fuel lines from the tank -and google 31271607 for an accurate picture.

How would I use my VIN to check? It is YV1672MC9BJ113684.

I used it to look up a fuel filter on Auto Zone, and they list one as confirming it will fit, but I'm not sure if that is trustworthy.

 

I checked with a local dealer, and they said my car does have one. $70 for the part and (1) hour of labor.
