The front passenger suddenly refused to close. The window will lift about 3-4 inches & stop. The window switch/motor will move the window to entirely open but will not close. I checked the fuse (82). It is fine. If I move the outside mirror to either extreme left or right position, the window will not move at all. I return the outside mirror to normal driving position & the window raises 3+ inches. Please Help. The window replacement shop is no help.

 

It's likely that the window track is dirty, or there is an obstruction interfering with window when going downward on the track.

Spray Compressed air with a blow gun, and/or hot soapy water along the whole lower window area. It should take care of it.

It may take a while if you only have access to hot soapy water, but be patient it will work. Also, if you're confident enough, remove the black window scraper with a soft, but hard item: like a credit card, and it will make this job easier.
