2012 Volvo T5 Questions
I am helping my daughter purchase a 2012 Volvo C70 T5 on Carvana. She has right of first refusal and car is still in the detail shop so we don't know too much about it other than what is in the advertisement. Three questions:
1) Is this model equipped with a Wind Screen Deflector that fits behind the front seat? We are not sure and can't seem to find one in official Volvo Parts Catalogue or from other venders.
2) It doesn't reflect in Carvana's description that the car has a rear view camera. If that is so, are there after-market models that you might recommend?
3) Finally, we are looking at extended warranties. Her local dealer has a good one and would like to purchase it there for obvious reasons. But we stumbled upon the Endurance extended warranty. Their top level covers extensive mechanical things with a $100 deductible, but also maintenance items such as oil changes, filters, brake pads, etc, with annual limitations. The cost is $102+ per month for 36 months and can be cancelled. I've forgotten the mileage limit but I think it's 100,000. Does anyone have experience with these people?
This looks to be a very nice, well cared for Volvo with a great CARFAX report, 2 owners and no accidents reported. It's especially fun for me as I've owned 5 Volvos over the years beginning with an '85 740GLE, an '88 240 SW, an 850, a 2000 S80 T6 and a 2002 XC70. Don't own one now as no local dealer where I live and it's 300 miles round trip to visit one.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

I'd start by decoding the VIN to see if the engine model fits in with the recall for high oil consumption. That's a known issue with the 2012 S60s and plenty of documentation on the Internet and other forum posts. Check if the C70 T5s are part of the issue.
Any thoughts about my other questions?
Tom
1) That's an accessory. You'd have to buy it.
2) C70s do not have factory back up cameras
Also, there is no recall for oil consumption for any model. The oil consumption problems are S60s, not C70s. Not a dipstick problem either.
