Hey guys
I own a 99 Volvo C70
and im trying to make the fog lights yellow
Headlightarmor.com makes awesome what looks like snap on lenses for every model exept the 99 C70
My question is does volvo use different fog lamps for different cars?
and if so which model should i buy the lenses for.
I was thinking that S60 would be pretty close.
But i need some input.
Any Help????

 

The S60 is way different.
I believe the C70 is only for the C70.
I would try to find Yellow bulbs.

I cant see to find the product number for the actual bulb that fits in the fog lamp.
Its a long rounded bulb and doesnt seem like it'd be easily replaced.
I cant find it anywhere.

 

That is the one with the single spade on the back and the odd shaped base that grounds the bulb correct?

 

Why or why do people call Volvo's DRIVING lights, FOG lights? Volvo does not equip it's vehicles with fog lamps but they do install driving lamps.!

The manual calls them fog lamps
and yes the are the single spade
I ended up just ordering yellow bulbs.

 

But you must understand that driving lamps are clear and fog lamps are yellow. Years ago in France most all headlamps were yellow in colour simply because of the foggy roads. However, call them what you will ...............

 

I think that "FOGLIGHTS" as for these days are concidered clear.
Which I know and understand the difference between both.

But almostall car company's list them as foglights.
I believe thats why everyone thinks and calls them foglights.

Pretty much all the manuals for the cars list them as foglights as well.

So we can pretty much blame the car companys for corrupting the younger generation into believing thefoglights are clear and also Yellow in color.
