Top down is fun ( until it breaks)
Driving experience/handling is fun, it's a fairly lightweight car compared to sedans/wagons (until you damaged the compressor or oil pan on a low curb/object) The C70s are a very low car, and I've replaced more than the normal share of oil pans on those.
The rest of the mechanicals are the same as most other Volvos in that era. Reasonably reliable
The car does not have a low coolant warning system, and there's a crazy octopus hose that leaks - make sure it's been replaced (and the car does not have a damaged head gasket, when it started leaking and no one noticed preciously)
Make sure the timing belt has been checked/ changed. PCV has been serviced, Check for cam seal leakage, Since you have owned so many Volvos, you probably know this.
