I just bought a 2012 C70. It has everything I want except one thing - heated seats. That was important to me as a Minnesotan.

Does anyone have experience with installing heated seats? I'll likely have to find a shop to do it for me, don't think I want to tackle it myself.

I live on the "wet" coast in BC, Canada (90' north of Seattle) and know the value of heated seats, especially with the top down. That said, while I cannot remember the aftermarket heated seat kit I purchased thru Groupon I did get it installed in my then '09 C70 at a shop.
​​​​The shop (360 Fabrication - franchise?) did an awesome job with the On-Off switches located on the centre console on either side of the shifter and the actual heaters (bottom & back) worked as good as if not better than the OEM ones I have in my '13 C70. As I recall the seat kit was about $150 (Cdn) and the install about the same.
The message here is do it! It extended our topless season about 6 weeks from spring to fall and took the edge off on those cold and wet winter days.
