The other night driving to work in my 2002 C70 coupe I cranked up the volume up a little too much. I guess the amp over loaded and shorted out. At that time I could smell something burning but was'nt sure the smell was coming from the car or some outside source.No more tunes only the center speaker plays. I've checked all the fuses that I am aware of and I've taken the car to the local dealership. They suggest replacing the amp. Question are there any relay switches on the amp that may need replacing?

 

Did they check the fuses in the amp?

 

Yes I did check both were good. I should have a new/reconditioned one delivered in a couple of days. Thanks

 

If it still wont work after that I would look at the Din cable.
When the C70 first came out there was alot of problems with the Din cables going out.
